Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be viewed as the art of enabling computers to make intelligent choices in settings where the best choice cannot easily be represented as a function of data available. This could either in a single-shot fashion, where, e.g., an object in an image or video is to be identified, or in a continuous scenario, where, e.g., robots need to navigate in an ever-changing environment to accomplish their tasks and/or joint overall objectives.
